Romantic Movies - The Bitter-Sweetness in Life
3 March 2007Even though most guys would raise their eyebrows when their girlfriends choose a romantic movie for the movie night, these kind of movies are more and more asked for and enjoyed by the young public. Romantic movies are the smooth representation of actual life and who doesn’t dream of being some kind of beauty waiting for her Prince Charming. And yes, these movies, though most of them closely follow common patterns, are a blessing for dreaming spirits and will, without any doubt, rank in the tops of all movies.
Romantic movies always have a sweet story to tell, be it the love affair of two people who are separated by different causes, or the romantic adventures of a man and a woman who come to learn about soul mates. Who hasn’t yet seen films such as “You’ve got mail” or “Sleepless in Seattle”, “Never been kissed”, just to name a few? Nowadays romantic comedies have the advantage of showing us real, can’t-live-without, desperate true love, the kind of “amour” that only comes once in your life and is here to stay.
Now what really happens with spectators watching a romantic movie? Either you get that nostalgic feeling, dream of your beloved or fantasize about fictive heroes; such a movie will undoubtedly make you shed some tears. Because, if the romantic movie keeping you in front of the screen does make a statement, than you will most probably feel it to the depth of your heart. Romanticism and love are the best issues for a movie: they’re real, livable and most of all one of our most common dreams.
So why not grab that video tape and press play to start your adventure? Because this is precisely what a romantic movie is, a quest and a beautiful journey that brings back memories or, the better, lets you imagine a perfect world where Prince Charming or a gorgeous Princess doesn’t come and go, but is actually stuck to you!
