How to Organize a Kids Theme Party
11 April 2007Kids’ parties that have no theme are out of trend. Why? Simply because each kid out there loves to role-play and personify his/her favorite characters from stories or games. Sure, the themes for the parties can refer to anything that can be represented on party tableware and party accessories: from animals to football, from princesses to cars and from clowns to lollypops, anything can be a great kids’ party theme.
When organizing a theme party for you child, the rules are simple: firstly, you must be aware of your child’s favorite hobby or passion. Try to find out specific ideas, in order to make your party as original as possible. Don’t worry, since you will find almost any kind of merchandise that would suit with your selected theme.
Secondly, you need to make a list of what you need. What should this list include? Table covers, plastic or paper cups and plates, napkins, plastic cutlery, games for the children, costumes or accessories and gifts for the children. You can either purchase them separately and create a combination of elements that represent your theme or you can find affordable packages with most of the things you need. But don’t think that you need complete costumes for each kid at the party: for example, if your party theme refers to bunnies or princesses, some simple bunny ears or princess tiaras for the kids make excellent and affordable choices.
But think about it for a second: what is the star of every kid’s party? What is the one thing that all kids are waiting for at a party? The cake, of course! So then, you should make the best theme cake ever and impress your child’s friends. You have two variants: either buy it – you can find cakes in almost any theme out there, cakes that present the shapes of famous cartoon characters or animals, cakes that represent sports or girlish themes – or you can make it on your own. If you theme is based on your child’s favorite cartoon hero, all you need is a clear picture of the animation star your kid loves, food colorants and a little bit of dexterity to cut the cake in a representative shape. follow these tips and have a great party time!
